Best answer

(a) Density

\(\frac{Mass}{Volume}\) = \(\frac{1155g}{12cm \times 11 \times3.5 cm}\) = \(\frac{1155g}{462 cm^3}\) = 2.5 g cm-3

(b) The mystery material is denser than the water, so it sinks
