Simple squamous epithelial cells are extremely thin and flat and form a delicate lining of organs and skin. Columnar Epithelium is comprised of cells that are taller than they are wide may or may not have cilia.
The esophagus and the lining of the mouth are also covered wit squamous epithelium. They are found in the inner lining of the intestine.
