(c) 16 cm.

Each side of the rhombus = $\frac{40\,cm}{4}$ = 10 cm

Length of the other diagonal = 2 × $\sqrt{10^2-(\frac{12}{2})^2}$

= 2 x $\sqrt{100-36}$ = 2 x $\sqrt{64}$ cm = 16 cm.
