(b)  \(\sqrt{37}\) units 

Let BD be the median through B. Then D is the mid-point of AC. Co-ordinate of D are

\(\bigg(\frac{5+3}{2},\frac{2+(-2)}{2}\bigg)\) , i.e., (4,0).

Now calculate BD.
