Let the points be P (3, 4), Q (11, 10) and R \(\big(5,\frac{11}2\big)\)

Clearly, 

PR + QR = \(\frac52+\frac{15}{2}\) = 10 units = PQ 

Hence, the points P, R and Q are collinear.
