Let the original bus fare per person be Rs x, 

daily passenger traffic be y. 

Daily collection at the depot = Rs xy 

Increased bus fare = Rs 1.2x, 

Reduced passenger traffic = 0.9y 

Daily collection at the depot = Rs 1.2x × 0.9y 

= 1.08xy

Given, 1.08xy = xy + 150 \(\Rightarrow\) xy = \(\frac{150}{0.08}\) = 1875

\(\therefore\) Increased daily collection = Rs 1875 + Rs 150 = Rs 2025.
