Best answer

(c) 200 metres

Let the length of the train be x metres.

Then, \(\frac{800+x}{100} = \frac{400+x}{60}\)

⇒ 2400 + 3\(x\) = 2000 + 5\(x\)

\(x\) = 200 metres.
