Differentiation between salivary amylase and pancreatic amylase:

S.No. Salivary amylase Pancreatic amylase
(i) Salivary amylase is produced in the Sali-vary glands. Pancreatic amylase is produced in the pancreas.
(ii) Salivary amylase strats digestion of carbohydrates of carbohydrates in the mouth. Pancreatic amylase acts on the remain-ing polysaccharides in the small intestine.
