(d) 2

\(x\) cos 60° + y cos θ° = 3

⇒ \(x\) x \(\frac12\) + y x 1 = 3

⇒ \(x\) + 2y = 6                     ...(i)

and 4\(x\) sin 30° – y cot 45° = 2

⇒ 4\(x\) x \(\frac12\) - y x 1 = 2

⇒ 2\(x\) – y = 2                  ...(ii)

Now solve for x and y
