\(\frac{6p^2-150}{p^2-3x-40}\) = \(\frac{6(p^2-25)}{p^2-8x+5x-40}\)

\(\frac{6(p-5)(p+5)}{p(p-8)+5(p-8)}\) = \(\frac{6(p-5)(p+5)}{(p-8)(p+8)}\) = \(\frac{6(p-5)}{p-8}.\)
