Area of each title = \(\frac{1}{2}\) x d1 x d2 sq. units

= \(\frac{1}{2}\) x 40 x 25 cm = 500 cm

∴ Area of 2000 titles = 500 x 20,000 = 10,000 cm

= 100 m2

Cost of polishing 1 m2 = Rs 5

∴ Cost of polishing 100 m2 = 5 x 100 = Rs 500
