Two cans have the same height equal to 21 cm. One can is cylindrical, the diameter of whose base is 10 cm. The other can has a square base of side 10 cm. What is the difference in their capacities ? 

(a) 350 cm3

(c) 450 cm3.

Required difference in capacities = \(\frac{22}{7}\) x (5)2 x  21~ (10)2 x 21

= (1650 ~ 2100) cm3 = 450 cm3.
