Find the value of w, given that x = 4, y = 4, z = – 2 and w = x2 – y2 + z2 – xyz.

Given x = 3; 

y = 4 and 

z = -2.

w = x2 – y2 + z2 – xyz

w = 32 – 42 + (-2)2 – (3)(3)(-2)

w = 9 – 16 + 4 + 24

w = 37 – 16

w = 21
