(i) Increasing order of ionic character is-

BeCl2 < MgCl2 < CaCl2 < BaCl2

(ii) Increasing order of solubility in water-

Mg(OH)2 < Ca(OH)2 < Sr(OH)2 < Ba(OH)2

(iii) Increasing order of basic strength-

BeO < MgO < CaO < BaO
