Best answer

Molar mass of C2H5OH = 2(12.01) + 5(1.008) + 16 = 46.068 g

Mass % of Carbon = \(\frac{24.02}{46.068}\) x 100 = 52.14%

Mass % of Hydrogen = \(\frac{6.048}{46.068}\) x 100 = 13.13%

Mass % of oxygen = \(\frac{16.00}{46.068}\) x 100 = 34.73%
