Best answer

We have,

3 – 2x < 9,

Transposing 3 to RHS,

− 2x < 9 – 3

Or  − 2x < 6

Or \(\frac{-2x}{-2}\)\(\frac{6}{-2}\)

Or x >−3

∴ When x is real, the solution is (- 3, ∞)
