If the mean of 2, 4, 6, 8, x, y is 5, then find the value of x + y.

Mean \(=\frac{Sum\,of\,terms}{Total\,terms}\)

\(5=\frac{(2+4+6+8+x+y)}{6}\)

30 = 20 + x+ y

x + y = 10
