Incomplete Dominance |
Co-dominance |
- F1 generation does not resemble either of the parent but show and intermediate trait.
- Example:
Snapdragon/Antirrhinum sp/dog flower/mirabilis jalapa/ four O’clock plant. |
- Both dominant alleles express themselves in F1.
- Example AB blood group in human.
|
Incomplete dominance - When homozygous dominant and homozygous recessive parents are crossed all members of F1 progeny will show intermediate trait.

Co dominance - When IA and IB are present together they both produce their own sugar / antigen
