Best answer

Let × be the CP of a Radio

SP = \(\frac{100\,-\,Loss\%}{100}\times CP\)

\(3120=\frac{100\,-\,4}{100}\times x\)

\(3120=\frac{96x}{100}\)

\(x=\frac{3120\,\times\,100}{96}\)

So, CP of a Radio is Rs.3250.

New SP = Rs.3445

Since SP > CP, it will be a case of Gain

Gain = SP – CP

= 3445 – 3250

= Rs.195

\(Gain\%=\frac{Gain\times100}{CP}\)

= (195 × 100) / 3250

= 6%

So, if Radio is sold at Rs.3445. Gain Percent will be 6%.
