A particle is moving in a circle of radius r centered at O with constant speed v. What is the change in velocity in moving from A to B if ∠AOB = 60°?

(A) 2 v sin 30° 

(B) 2 v cos 30°

(C) 2 v sin 60°

(D) 2 v cos 60°

Answer is (A) 2 v sin 30° 

Let velocity at A = v1 

Velocity at B = v2

∴ Velocity is constant,

∴ v1 = v2 = v (say)

∠AOB = 60°

∴ Change in velocity,
