Correct Answer - 2 cm ; real, inverted; `-30cm`
Here, `h_(1) = 1 cm, u = -15 cm, f = -10 cm , v = ?, h_(2) = ?`
As `(1)/(v) + 1/u = (1)/(f) :. (1)/(v) = (1)/(f) - 1/u = 1/(-10) + 1/15 = (-3+2)/30 = (-1)/30`
`v = -30 cm`
Negative sign of v shows that the image is real.
As `(h_(2))/(h_(1)) = -(v)/(u), (h_(2))/(h_(1)) = (+30)/(-15) = -2, h_(2) = -2 cm`
Negative sign of `h_(2)` shows that the image is real and inverted.
