(i) What aquous solution of `ZnSO_(4)` is added to aqueous solution of `BaCl_(2),` a reaction takes place forming an equous solution of `ZnCl_(2)` and a white precipitate of `BaSO_(4).`
(ii) In this reaction, ions in the reactants are exchanged to form a precipitate. Such reactions are called double displacement reactions.
