We have, AP = AS

BP = BQ

CR = CQ

DR = DS

Hence,

AP + BP+CR + DR = AS + BQ + CQ + DS

AB + CD = AD + BC

AD = AB + CD – BC = 6 + 7 – 6.5 = 6.5 cm
