Correct Answer - `X^2Y^3`
Suppose no. of atoms Y present in the packing =n
Then, tetrahedral voids = 2n
Atoms X present in the tetrahedral voids=`1/3xx2n ="2n"/3`
`therefore` Ratio of X:Y =`"2n"/3:n=2/3:1=2:3`
Hence, the formula is `X_2Y_3`
