Best answer
The initial angular velocity
`=50 rpm=(5pi)/3rad/s`
Using `omega=omega_0+alphat`
alpha=(omega-omega_0)/t=(0-(5pi)/3)/60 rad/s^I2=-pi/36rad/s^2`.
The torque that can produce this deceleratioin is
`Gamma =I|alpha|=(2kg-m^2)(pi/36rad/s^2)=pi/18N-m.`
