The wavelength of a light is of the order of `6400 Å`. Express this in micron and metre.

As `1 Å=10^(-10)M`
therefore Wavelength of light= `6400 Å= 6400xx10^(-10)m`
`=6.4 xx10^(-7)m`
Also `1 micron=10^(-6)metre`
`therefore` Wavelength of light (in micron) =`(6.4xx10^(-7))/(10^(-6))micron`
`=0.64 micron`
