Correct Answer - B
Mitosis is the process by which a cell nucleus divides (karyokinesis) to produce two daughter nuclei containing identical sets of chromosomes to the parent cell. It is usually followed immediately by the division of cytoplasm (cytokinesis) to form two daughter cells.
This process is known as cell division. cytokinesis is of two types i.e., by cell-furrow method (e.g. animals) and cell-plate method (e.g. plants).
