We have
LHS `=cot^(-1)7+cot^(-1)8+cot^(-1)18`
`=(tan^(-1)1/7+ tan^(-1)1/8)+tan^(-1)1/18`
`=tan^(-1)((1/7+1/8)/(1-1/7 xx 1/8)) + tan^(-1)1/18=tan^(-1)((15/56)/(55/56))+tan^(-1)1/18`
`=(tan^(-1)3/11+tan^(-1)1/18)=tan^(-1)((3/11+1/18)/(1-3/11 xx 1/18))`
`=tan^(-1)((1/7+1/8)/(1-1/7 xx 1/80) + tan^(-1)1/18=tan^(-1)((15/56)/(55/56))+tan^(-1)1/18`
`=(tan^(-1)3/11 + tan^(-1)1/18)=tan^(-1)((3/11+1/18)/(1-3/11 xx 1/18))`
`=tan^(-1)((65/198)/(195/198))=tan^(-1)1/3=cot^(-1)3` RHS.
`therefore` LHS=RHS.
