Best answer
`Cu+Cl_(2)toCuCl_(2),i.e., Cu^(2+)+2Cl^(-)`
`E_(cell)^(@)=E_(Cu//Cu^(2+))^(@)+E_(Cl_(2)//2Cl^(-))^(@)=-0.34+1.36V=1.02V`.
i.e., reaction takes place. Hence, it cannot be stored.
