One incident photon can eject one photoelectron from a photosestive surface. Therefore the no. of photoelectrons ejected per second depends upon the no. of photons falling per second on it, which in turns depends upon the intensity of the incident light. The increase in the frequency of the incident photon but one photon of high energy can not ejected more than one photoelectron from a photosenstive surface.
