In 1895, German scientist Roentgen discovered X-rays which was after a weeks time used by the doctors for viewing status of the bones, fractured or damaged. At time of viewing or scanning of bones, many X-ray operators lost their lives due to tumors. Raghav after knowing such fact, approach to his friend Madhav to find the reason of it. Raghav was convinced when Madhav explained him the reasons with proper causes.

(a) The values displayed by Madhav are : 

(i) high order of general awareness, 

(ii) ability to convince someone, and 

(iii) helping and caring nature. 

(b) In that time, the doctors did not know that X-rays are dangerous. They have short wavelengths, thus they carry a great deal of energy. A high dose of X-rays can cause cancer, so many of the early X-ray operators died of tumours.
