`E_(3) = E_(1) + E_(2)`
Therefore, `barv_(3) = barv_(1) + barv_(2)`
Also, `(hc)/(lambda_(3)) = (hc)/(lambda_(1)) + (hc)/(lambda_(2)` So, `(1)/(lambda_(3)) = (1)/(lambda_(1)) + (1)/(lambda_(2))`
Thus, `lambda_(3) = (lambda_(1)lambda_(2))/(lambda_(1) + lambda_(2))`
