Best answer
Correct Answer - B
Unlike pheno1 there is no change of product on changing the nature of solvent because whether we use bromine water or bromine in `CS_(2)` the substrate is aniline which is more reactive than pheno1 towards electrophilic aromatic substitution In aqueous solution of aniline the following equilibrium exists : `C_(6)H_(5)NH_(2)+H_(2)overset(..)O:rarrC_(6)H_(5)overset(+)(NH_(3)) + H_(3)O^(+)`
The electrophile `Br^(+)` prefers the more reactive `C_(6)H_(6)NH_(2)`
rather than `C_(6)H_(5)NH_(3)`
