`MnSO_(4)` में `Mn` की ऑक्सीकरण संख्या `=+2`
`MnO_(2)` में `Mn` की ऑक्सीकरण संख्या `=+4`
ऑक्सीकरण संख्या में परिवर्तन `=2`
अतः `MnSO_(4)` का तुल्यांकी भार `=(M)/(2)`
जहाँ `M=MnSO_(4)` का अणुभार है ।
