(b) Allergenes are non-infectious foreign substances that cause allergic reaction. Allergy is the hyper- sensitiveness of a person to some foreign substance coming in contract with ot entering the body. The common allergenes are dust, pollen, mould spores, fabrics, lipsticks, nailpaints,fur, heat bacteria etc.
Allergy involves mainly the secretion of LgE antibodies and histamine. The allergy causes marked dilation of all the peripheral blood vessels.
