I. Fluorine forms two oxides `OF_(2)" and "O_(2)F_(2)`.
II. `OF_(2)` is thermodynamically stable at 298 K.
III. `O_(2)F_(2)` oxidises plutonium to `PuF_(6)`.

Best answer
Correct Answer - D
Fluorine froms two oxides, i.e. `OF_(2)` and `O_(2)F_(2).OF_(2)` is thermodynamical statbe at 298 K. These oxides are essnitally oxygen fluction because of the higher electronegativity of florine than oxygen. Both are strong fluorinating agent . `O_(2)F_(2)` oxidises plutonium to `PuF_(6)` and the reaction is used in removing plutonium as `PuF_(6)` from spent nuclear fuel .
