दोनों तरफ x के सापेक्ष अवकलित (Differentiate) करने पर हमें मिलता है,
`2(x-a)+2(y-b)(dy)/(dx)=0`

पुन: दोनों तरफ x के सापेक्ष अवकलित (differentiate) करने पर हमें मिलता है,
`(d^(2)y)/(dx^(2))=-((y-b)cdot 1-(x-a)(dy)/(dx))/((y-b)^(2))`
