(d) Let the sum=P,`T_(1)=(8)/(12)yrs`,According to the questions, `(Pxx5xx15)/(100xx12)-(Pxx4xx8)/(100xx12)=129`
`Rightarrow=(43P)/(1200)=129`
`Rightarrow P=Rs.3600`
Hence required sum(अभीस्ट राशि)=3600
Alternate /( वैकल्पिक विधि)
Let sum (माना की योग) = 100 units
According to the question,

43 units = ₹ 129
1 unit = ₹ 3
100 units = ₹ `3xx100` = ₹ 300
yearly sum = ₹ `12xx300` = ₹ 3600
Note:- time is given in months and rate % is given per annum
Hence we multiplied the answer by (समय माह में दिया गया है और दर प्रतिशत वार्षिक हरे इसलिए हमने स्तर को 12 से गुना कर दिया है)
