`CrCl_(2)(OX)_(2)^(-3)` primary valency is same as oxidation numbre and secondary valency is same as coordination number . As OX is bidentate and `Cl^(-)` is monodentate , secondary valency is 6. Priamary valency (OX no.) will be.
`x+2(-1)+2(-2)= -3`
or x = 3
