Area of the parallelogram is given by |a x b|  where a and b are side vectors.

As given, a = 2i -3j + k, b = I + 4j + 5k
so, area = |(2i -3j + k) x (i + 4j + 5k)|
= √{(-19)2 + (-9)2 + (11)2}
= √563
