Sitting posture: About 65-67 per cent of the work hours is in sitting position. Body balance and alignment are two essential considerations in sitting. While sitting the body weight should first be placed on the front edge of the chair, then support the seat. Make full use of the chair seat with the body against the back of the chair. Keep the back straight.
