If one zero of a polynomial 3x2 - 8x + 2k + 1, is seven times the other, find the value of k.

Let 3x2 - 8x + 2k + 1 = 0

If α and β be the zeroes of the polynomial, then as per the question

β = 7α

α + 7α = 8α = - (-8/3)

α = 1/3
