Given equation is 3x + 2y – 6 = 0. 

Substituting x = 2 and y = 3 in L.H.S. of given equation, we get 

L.H.S. = 3x + 2y – 6 

= 3(2) + 2(3) – 6 

= 6 

≠ R.H.S. 

∴ Point A does not lie on the given line.
