A body of mass 1 kg is made to oscillate on a spring of force constant 16 N/m. Calculate 

(i) the angular frequency 

(ii) the frequency of oscillation.

Data : m = 1 kg, k = 16 N/m

Angular Frequency  \(\omega\) = \(\sqrt{\frac km}\) = \(\sqrt{\frac {16}1}\) = 4 rad/s

Frequency, f = \(\frac{​​\omega}{2\pi}\) = \(\frac{4}{2\times3.142}\) = 0.6365 Hz
