The correct option is (b) 22.4km/s

Easiest explanation: vp/ve =√((2GMp)/Rp)×√(Rg/(2GMe )) = √(Mp/Me ×Re/Rp)

vp/ve = √(8×1/2)=2

vp=2ve=2×11.2=22.4km/s.
