Let breadth of the room be bm and length of the room is l = 112 m given 

\(\therefore\) Area of rectangular room = lb m²

But given that area of rectangular room is 784 m².

\(\therefore\) lb = 784

⇒ 112 b = 784

⇒ b = 784/112 = 7

\(\therefore\) Breadth of the rectangular room is 7m.
