Correct Answer - Option 2 : humus

Explanation:

(i) Compost is organic matter that has been decomposed in a process called composting. Composting is the biological reclamation of organic materials by the natural decomposition process. Examples: decay of fallen leaves in forests, decay of wood in a stand. It is an aerobic, biological process which uses naturally occurring microorganisms to convert biodegradable organic matter into a humus-like product.

(ii) The anaerobic bacterial digestion of organic municipal solid waste will lead to the formation of end product called “humus”.

(iii) Leachate is the liquid that drains or 'leaches' from a landfill. It varies widely in composition regarding the age of the landfill and the type of waste that it contains. It usually contains both dissolved and suspended material.
