Correct Answer - Option 2 : 23,666.66 Lts.

Calculation:

Water demand per day = 33,000 Lts

Then, water demand for 50 days = 33,000 × 50 = 16,50,000 Lts

When new people joined, water demand per day = 37,000 Lts

Then, water demand for 35 days = 37,000 × 35 = 12,95, 000 Lts

Amount of water left for 15 days = 16,50,000 - 12, 95, 000 = 3,55,000 Lts

Then, amount of water to be used per day = 3,55,000/15 = 23,666.66 Lts.

∴ The amount of water to be used per day is 23,666.66 Lts.
