Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 3 : 4 N

CONCEPT:

  • Newton's second law: When a constant force acts on a body, it causes it to accelerate.

The acceleration (a) of the body is calculated by:

F = ma

where F is the force on the body, m is the mass of the body, and a is the acceleration.

CALCULATION:

Given that a = 2 ms-2; m = 2 kg;

F = ma

F= 2 × 2

F = 4 N

So the correct answer is option 3.
