Correct Answer - Option 3 : 7

Given:

Trains leave the stations A and B simultaneously after an interval of every 1 hour. Each train takes 4 hours to complete the journey.

Calculation:

Let the person starts from station A for station B, at 12 pm,

Then he will cross the trains starting from station B at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm i.e. 7 times

∴ A total of 7 trains will be crossed by the person before arriving at station B
